How to shoot clean product photos with your phone

If you sell a small product online, the photo often decides whether someone clicks or keeps scrolling. You do not need a big studio to make a cleaner image. You need stable light, a plain background and a repeatable setup.

The simple setup

1. Clean the object and remove dust before shooting.
2. Place it on a plain white or neutral background.
3. Use soft light from both sides to avoid harsh shadows.
4. Put your phone on a stable support and use the timer.
5. Take one front photo, one close-up detail photo and one scale photo.
